Split Callout Simple Snippet

The split callout simple displays an “sq” image, header, description text and multiple links in the full width region. The callout can be displayed with the image to the left or right of the text.

This is a DIY snippet. You can add it to your pages without assistance from Digital Strategy. Make sure to follow all standards outlined in this guide.

This snippet should only be used in the Full-Width Region.

 

Required and Optional Fields

  • image display type (right or left): required
  • image: required (use an “-sq” image)
  • subtitle: optional
  • title: required
  • content (body copy): required
  • links: optional (up to three links may be added)

When to Use It

Use the Split Callout Simple snippet to callout a prominent image, description and link. Owed to the size of this callout, it is best to use this for content that will stay relevant for several weeks (as opposed to more timely news or events content).

When to Use Something Else

If you are trying to add events or news content use the Events Block or the News Block Callout.
