Strategic Sales Center
The Towson Strategic Sales Center (TSSC) supports the study and practice of professional selling while educating the next generation of strategic sales professionals.
The TSSC was created to expand the reach of the university’s sales education program as a member in the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA). Housed in the College of Business and Economics and managed by the Department of Marketing, the TSSC elevates the educational and professional sales opportunities for the students and faculty of Towson University.
Benefits of the TSSC
The TSSC assists in:
- developing relationships between faculty, students, staff and sales industry professionals
- connecting faculty, students and staff to professional development opportunities, local and national sales competitions, sales research collaborations, sales partnerships and mentorships
- transforming students into career-ready sales professionals
Practicing Key Skills at TSSC
The TSSC regularly hosts two Strategic Sales Competitions a year with over 100 students and 40 corporate partners participating each year. Located in Stephens Hall RM117, the Center encompasses the Sales Den and a to-be-built role-play center for students to practice their sales and elevator pitches before competitions and networking events.
The TSSC is a hub of collaboration between students, faculty and sales professionals.
Networking through the USCA
As a member of the prestigious University Sales Center Alliance (USCA), Towson University students, faculty and staff have access to networking opportunities, educational resources and institutional collaborations.
Membership in the USCA expands both educational and professional sales opportunities for the students and faculty at Towson University.
