About the Program:

The Middle School Track of the mathematics education Master’s provides certified middle school teachers with advanced knowledge in mathematics content and pedagogy. 

The Middle School Track is designed to ensure that certified middle school teachers meet and surpass the standards set by the No Child Left Behind Act while preparing to advance their careers. Many graduates go on to leadership positions in mathematics education as master teachers, curriculum developers and mathematics supervisors.  

The program offers core coursework in advanced mathematics, mathematics education and pedagogy. 


Reduced Program Costs

  • Through a contractual agreement with your employer, tuition for courses may be significantly reduced.
  • The TU application fee of $50 is waived.
  • Participants are responsible for purchasing course texts.
  • A required electronic portfolio software program, with a one-time fee of $120, will be used in all College of Education graduate programs.
