About the Program:
The Autism in the Classroom Graduate Certificate provides a comprehensive understanding
of the unique challenges of students with ASD and their families and the most effective,
evidence-based practices and strategies to support the learning and social success
of these students in school and the community.

About the Program:
Graduates of the MAT program are eligible for teacher certification in the general
education tracks of early childhood, elementary and secondary education.

About the Program:
This is a program in special education for those who currently hold a Maryland teaching
license. At the completion of this program and after passing the required MSDE Praxis
II tests, graduates will be eligible to receive an endorsement in special education.
